So, grab your apron, roll up your sleeves, and let’s get baking! It’s time to put a spring in your step with these THC-Infused Lemon Bars!

Important Notes Before Cooking:

Wait at Least 1 Hour After Consumption

Edibles take between 30 minutes to 2 hours to take effect. Only take another serving after you feel the full effects and are looking for a more powerful experience. It’s a common mistake to redose too soon, potentially leading to an undesirable outcome. You can always take more, but you can’t take less. So Start Low and Go Slow.

Cannabis & Hemp-Derived Products Affect Everyone Differently

Cannabis and hemp-derived products affect each person differently based on several factors such as tolerance, age, and more. Do individualized research to better personalize your experience and ensure you have a positive reaction.

Enjoy Responsibly

Keep infused baked goods out of reach of children and pets. Only adults 21 years or older should make this recipe or consume these treats. Please inform anyone who consumes them of the ingredients and potential side effects.

Dosage On THC-Infused Lemon Bars

This recipe makes 24 small servings, and if you are using our 1000mg Leafy8 Distillate Syringes, they will be approximately 42 mg per serving. For those looking for a lower dose, you have two options. 1. You can replace half the butter with regular butter for a dosage of 22 mg per serving. 2. You can use half the distillate syringe rather than the whole syringe when making your cannabutter for a dosage of 22 mg per serving.

Be aware that since the THC is in the crust, the edge pieces, which have more crust, will have a slightly higher dose than those closer to the center.

Cannabutter Recipe

D8-Pure-Distillate

Before baking, we must prepare the most important ingredient, Cannabutter. Cannabutter is very easy to make. You’ll need two items, 2 sticks of unsalted butter and a 1-gram distillate syringe from Leafy8. We carry Delta-8 THC distillate syringes.

First, we will melt the butter. You can either use the microwave method or the stovetop method. While melting, it is crucial to keep the butter under 200 degrees to avoid THC degradation.

Once the butter is melted, it is time to add the distillate. Distillate is a dense, honey-like substance. Place the syringe in a cup of hot water or gently warm it up using a torch or other heating device to loosen it.

Mix ingredients with a whisk or spatula until the distillate is evenly incorporated. Now your cannabutter is done!

Lemon Bar Recipe

24 Servings / Approximately 42 mg Per Bar

For Crust:

2 cups Flour

1 Cup Cannabutter

½ cup white sugar

For Filling:

1 ½ cups white sugar

¼ cup flour

4 eggs

2 lemons juiced (½ cup)

(Optional) Powdered Sugar for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F
  2. Start by making the crust. Mix flour, cannabutter, and sugar in a bowl until well incorporated. Once combined, press into the bottom of an ungreased 8×11-inch baking pan.
  3. Place pan in the oven until golden, approximately 20 minutes.
  4. While the crust bakes, start to make the filling. Whisk sugar and flour in a bowl. Then, whisk in eggs and lemon juice until smooth. There should be little to no clumps.
  5. Once the crust is done, pour the filling over the crust.
  6. Place pan bake in the oven for 25 more minutes. The filling should be semi-solid (not jiggling when moved)
  7. Set pan aside to completely cool. Once cool, sprinkle sifted powdered sugar over the top until the dessert is completely covered. Then, cut into squares and enjoy!

Storing Tips

Since these baked goods contain eggs, they should be stored in an air-tight container in the fridge. The bars can be stored for up to seven days.

If a week isn’t enough time to enjoy these lemon bars, they can be frozen. Many worry about the THC degrading, but the THC content will stay the same for up to 15 months. First, the bars must be wrapped in storage or cling wrap, then in aluminum foil. The lemon bars can last up to 4 months while frozen. To thaw, place them in the fridge overnight.
